Holiday Photos – What to Expect
As we approach the first Holiday Photo day, you may be interested in knowing how the sessions will proceed, so here is a detailed look at what to expect.
Preparation
You, your family, and your pets will all want to look your best for your holiday photos. Make sure to wear something nice for your photos and if your pets have any special outfits, you might want to dress them up, too. If you can coordinate your attire with your family and pets in some way, that will make the photos even better. And, Yorkville Animal Hospital offers grooming services for your pets to get them ready, too.
Arrival
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. This will give your pet time to get comfortable with Yorkville Animal Hospital and for you to review the menu of products that we are offering (prints, cards, photo cubes, canvas wraps, phone cases, and other items).
Photo Session
The photo session will last from 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the number of people and pets involved. We will arrange you and your pets in several different poses to make sure we capture several special moments and expressions. We may pose you with some of our props, including several chairs, a fire truck, a rocking horse, and numerous gift packages. We will work as quickly as we can while still taking the time necessary to make the best possible photos.
Photo Retouching
You have nothing to worry about at this time. Our expert photo editor will make minor adjustments to the batch of photos just taken so that they are ready to order. This process will take about 15 minutes, so you can relax while we work.
Ordering and Payment
One of our team will present the photos to you and help you select the products for your order. We will have sample products available to help you decide. After you’ve paid for your order, we will do a final retouch on your images, make the products, and create your online gallery. Your products will generally be available within 7 days.
Departure
Your photo session should be done within an hour of when you arrived. We hope you’ve enjoyed the photo session and we look forward to hearing how you like the finished products!
